Defraggler is a disk utility to defrag your hard drive and all the partitions in it. It also allows you to defrag information specific folders or files .
The technique behind is pretty much the same as Windows. So there is no security risk behind the process. It’s a safe, effective tool!
This is a tool select by most IT professionals for a few reasons (besides being free).

• Defrag what you want. Select full hard drivers, partitions, folders or even files.
• Safe and Secure.  For example, when defragging the hard drive, bites and bytes of files or even full files are moved around the hard drive. If a power surge occurs, the copy is aborted, however, defraggler copies the bits/bytes/ files first, after it finishes the copy, then it deletes it from previous location. Leaving no fragments of the file behind or worse, damaging the files.
• Compact and Portable. Yup, you can copy Defraggler to a USB drive and run it anywhere. Portable version is available with no installation required.
• Interactive Drive Map. A easy to understand interface will show you the process of the defragmentation, you’ll understand how it works just by looking at it. You can see how much is fragmented, where relative fragments are and lot’s of other aspects.
• Quick Defrag. If you can’t spend time defragging your hard drive or can’t wait for it, Defraggler offers a Quick Defrag mode. It’s not as thorough as a deep or full defrag but it’s a good first start and something you can do to maintain the minimum fragmentation of the hard drive.
• Defragment free space. When you look at your hard drive free space, isn’t exactly “empty”. But Windows uses that space constantly and is normal to get fragments spread all over the disk. With a heavy use of the hard drive, the free space will literally end up being "free spots” in between information that you have stored. Defraggler will sort that out organizing the free space, eventually gaining performance for example when writing new files.
• Scheduled defragmentation. Leave your PC overnight or when you go out, or anytime you’re not using it, and turn that time into something productive for your computer. You can set Defraggler to run anytime, just leave your computer On. Run it weekly, monthly or whenever you wish or can.
• Multi-Lingual Support. Not matter what language you speak, Defraggler has support for the following languages: English, Albanian, Arabic, Bosanski, Deutsch, Dutch, Espanol (Spanish), French, Greek, Hebrew, Italiano (Italian), Japanese, Magyar, Norwegian, Portugues (Portuguese), Portugues (Brazilian Portuguese), Romana (Romanian), Russian, Suomi (Finnish), Svenska (Swedish) and Ukranian.

Defraggler has a lot of “under the hood” , the technology used besides being safe, it’s effective, showing the most effective results after the first use.
